Terminal Marítimo GNL Talcahuano is a cutting-edge, medium-scale, 100% regional project to be located on the Bay of Concepción facing the Isla de Los Reyes sector, in Talcahuano Commune, with the purpose of bringing back natural gas to the south of Chile. This project entails the construction of a maritime terminal of the type near-shore island to develop port logistics for the import, storing and re-gasification of LNG. This LNG terminal is the first in the world to be carbon neutral.
